ReStore
Support Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity’s mission by volunteering at the ReStore! This is a great opportunity to volunteer for those with hours available during the daytime. Volunteers must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. (Under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult).
Meet at ReStore at 505 Kane Street, Baltimore, MD 21224. Transportation during donation pickup provided. Bring a signed waiver, gloves, work clothes, and lunch.

Donation Pickup Assistant
Time Commitment: Time commitment is flexible, but a regular commitment is preferred. The following shifts are available. Tuesday through Friday; 8:30am-4pm.
Bring a Friend! The ReStore box-truck seats three. Up to two volunteers can ride with the ReStore Donation Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
- Accompany the ReStore Donation Coordinator in ReStore’s box truck to homes and businesses to pick up donated items
- Load donations into box-truck (Lift-gate; hand carts provided)
- Unload donations at ReStore
Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Squat, bend, and climb in/out of box-truck
Retail Sales Associate
Time Commitment: Full day or half day shifts available for weekdays. Tuesday-Friday; 8am-12pm; 12pm-4pm. Saturdays 8am-2pm (no half day shift available).
Activities include:
- Greet customers, answer questions, run checkout counter
- Answer telephones and process donation requests
- Build racks and display fixtures for donated goods
- Clean and price donations
- Maintenance of warehouse
- Marketing, public relations
- Volunteer recruitment
- Receiving (unloading and loading donated materials)
